Jan 17, 2025: As you see it now there are a combined 67 hours of work on this piece. The final stages include minute details that bring to life those awe inspiring moments. As the artist I’ll be honest in saying these are the details that are painful— I am SO unbearably particular about getting it right. As the saying goes, I am my worst critic, and I don’t allow reprieve until I’m positive that even I am shocked by how good it really is. Many hours to come but the end is within reach. These are the pieces that are so hard to let go, the ones you mold so carefully that it feels as though you’re giving a piece of yourself. To the lovely home she finds, I hope you cherish her as much as I have cherished making her. It feels as if I just got her, and I am already mourning the loss.
